Proposed new law:
1. An employer must provide, within 30 calendar days, proof of ownership of questionable items that an employee has brought to the attention of the employer.
2. Whoever knowingly, with the intent to retaliate, takes any action harmful to any person, including interference with the lawful employment or livelihood of any person, for requesting proof of ownership of questionable items shall be fined no more than 10,000 dollars or imprisoned not more than 10 years or both. A minimum sentencing guideline shall be enacted of 100 hours of community service. This minimum sentencing guideline is automatically increased to 1000 hours of community service if the actions where related to claims of high ethical standards by the employer in question.
3. All publicly funded school systems must provide a minimum of 40 hours per school year of moral training as part of civics education to all students and this training must be a required course.
